Continuing the Ceragem Hope project, Ceragem Vietnam has provided VND 170 million to support the construction of Ceragem Hope Bridge 03 – Canal 9 Bridge, helping facilitate daily travel for local residents and students.
On the morning of September 27, 2024, in Thạnh Mỹ Commune, Vĩnh Thạnh District, Cần Thơ City, Ceragem Vietnam Co., Ltd. cooperated with local authorities and the Hope Foundation to hold the groundbreaking ceremony for Canal 9 Bridge, connecting Long Thạnh Hamlet and Đất Mới Hamlet.
Thạnh Mỹ Commune covers an area of 2,313 hectares with a population of 9,147 people, whose livelihoods mainly depend on agriculture. Due to the dense network of rivers and canals, transportation remains challenging, and overland travel is difficult because of the lack of connecting bridges. In particular, Canal 9 Bridge, spanning Thắng Lợi 2 Canal, has significantly deteriorated and no longer ensures safe passage for local residents.

The current Thắng Lợi 2 Canal Bridge has deteriorated and poses safety risks for local residents traveling across it.
One of the key criteria for building a “new rural area and civilized urban community” is convenient transportation. Canal 9 Bridge plays an important role in connecting road networks, facilitating travel and trade for more than 500 households along the canal, and helping students commute to school more easily and safely. Moreover, the construction of the bridge contributes to socio-economic development and improves the quality of life for local residents.
The new Canal 9 Bridge is being built with reinforced concrete, measuring 45 meters in length and 4 meters in width, with a total investment of over VND 500 million, supported by Ceragem Vietnam in cooperation with local authorities through the Hope Foundation.
Once completed and put into use, the project will help complete the transportation network connecting local hamlets, create favorable conditions, and promote economic and social development of Vĩnh Thạnh District in general and Thạnh Mỹ Commune in particular.

The Ceragem Hope Bridge project originates from the desire to address the urgent transportation needs of local residents in a sustainable and long-term manner, creating more opportunities and improving living standards in the community.
Previously, Ceragem successfully built Ceragem Hope Bridge 01 in Đồng Tháp Province and Ceragem Hope Bridge 02 in Kiên Giang Province. These Hope Bridges not only brought joy and excitement to local residents but also great satisfaction to the company, witnessing people travel more easily and students walk more confidently on their way to school.
“In the coming time, we will continue to expand the Ceragem Hope project, supporting bridge construction in remote and disadvantaged areas where infrastructure remains limited, helping residents improve their living conditions and promoting the spirit of unity for the shared development of society,” shared CEO Kim Byeong Gon, company representative.
