GROUNDBREAKING OF 1ST CERGEM HOPE BRIDGE – THE OPENING OF CERAGEM HOPE BRIDGE PROJECT FOR COMMUNITY

On 2019 September 16th, Ngang Cai Bay bridge (1st Ceragem Hope Bridge) groundbreaking ceremony held in Binh Hang Tay commune, Cao Lanh district, Dong Thap province with total construction cost of over 500 million VND, in which 220 million VND contributed from Ceragem Vina.

Binh Hang Tay is the suburban commune of Cao Lanh district in Dong Thap province, has the dense canals being convenient for agricultural production but difficult for travel. Ngang Cai Bay bridge had been used during 17  years and damaged for 7 months ago. The condition of serious deterioration caused troubles and dangers for residents going across, especially student going to school every day.

Ceragem Vina’s Board of Director and Area Managers had a meeting with the Commune’s authorities.

In the collaboration with People’s Committee of Commune and authorized agencies, Ceragem Vina support the amount of 220 million VND to construct the new concrete bridge with 27 meters in length, 3 meter in width and 5 tons in loading. The construction time estimated about 3 months, then the new bridge will serve 500 households with 2000 people and help 700 children from Binh Hang Tay junior hig school and Binh Hang Tay primary school travel safely.

The groundbreaking of Ngang Cai Bay bridge is the a special meaning. It is the first step of Ceragem Hope Bridge project to accomplish the promise to customer is contributing to social activities, and the foundation to continue building more bridge for people and children in difficult areas all over country. This is the special meaning Ceragem Vina implies in the project.
